Kaiser High School is seeking: JV Cheer Coach

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Relating to and communicating with student athletes, their parents and admin.

• Finance, equipment accountability and care of equipment and facilities

• Scheduling of practices and team activities

• Coordinating team activities with varsity team, band, student activities and govt.

• Understanding of school grading policy

• Public Relations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of coaching at the high school level or above

• Knowledge and experience with technical aspects of cheering, tumbling, dance, choreography and game rules

• Effective communication skills, oral and written

• Effective organization and time management skills

• Fundraising and budget experience

• Philosophy on academics and other co-curricular decisions

• Valid drivers license

• CPR certified

• NFHS coaching certification preferred

• College graduate preferred
