Kaimuki High School is seeking Assistant Coaches for the following sports:

● Baseball
● Girls Volleyball
● Boys Basketball
● Football

● Soft Tennis

● Tennis

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

In addition to assisting the Head Coach, some duties may include:
● Teach the game, provide knowledge, strategy, enthusiasm and respect for the game and opponents.
● Relating to and communicating with student athletes, parents, officials’, teachers, admin and community.
● Assist the Head Coach with fundraising for team items as needed
● Care and maintenance of facilities and field, equipment accountability
● Attendance for all practices and games
● Understanding of the academic grading policy

QUALIFICATIONS:

● Minimum 3 years of coaching at the high school level or above
● Knowledge of technical aspects of the sport, strategies, and game rules
● Effective communication skills, oral and written
● Effective organization and time management skills
● Fundraising and budget experience
● Philosophy on academics and other co-curricular decisions
● NFHS coaching certification preferred
