The McKinley High School Athletic Department is currently looking for Assistant Coaches for Girls Water Polo, Wrestling, Volleyball and Cross Country.
These positions will be responsible for helping in all aspects of the Sports Program and Coaching Duties outlined by the Athletic Director and Head Coach. Some duties include: teaching/coaching of techniques, collecting equipment, taking care of the facilities, monitoring grades and character development and need to be selfless and working together as a team with the administration, other teams, coaches and custodians.
All coaches will need to obtain all coaching certifications and be verified by the Department of Education.
Minimum requirements: College degree, previous coaching experience, high school level preferred, NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Certified, conducts self in an ethical and professional manner, handles administrative responsibilities appropriately and effectively and is able to communicate effectively with all role groups and work well with the students and parents and especially with the AD, Administration, Athletic Trainers and other coaches in the program.
